There is something for everybody in every season; for me, its the pool time and the refreshing ice cream and watermelon in the sticky heat of summer, the colorful leaves and the cool weather in the fall, and the swirling snowflakes and hot chocolate wrapped blankets during the wintertime. However, if I had to be stuck with one season the entire year, spring would be my choice; spring has a little bit of everything. The weather is perfect during this time of year; it’s mostly warm yet cool and windy. Its not burning hot and swarming with mosquitos, yet not extremely chilly and numbing. I can wear lighter clothing and jeans or shorts. I can also save money by not having to buy heavy jackets or sweaters. Either flip flops or sneakers can suffice. Spring is the perfect time to get outside and just run around. I’m not allergic to pollen either, so that doesn’t bother me. Also, it doesn’t matter that winter is for hot chocolate and summer is for watermelons; I eat anything anyday anyways!

Harvard!
I am writing this from a hotel room on the 15th floor of the Liberty Hotel in Boston! I came here for a Harvard debate tournament, and its been pretty fun so far; the last round ended today a few hours ago because I didn’t break, but thats fine because this was only my third debate tournament. The tournament has been mentally and especially physically draining for me. I have had to wake up at 5:30 for the past three days, and stay up pretty late to prep. There are only three rounds each day, but each one leaves me more exhausted than before. On the first day of the tournament all I got to eat was a chicken wrap thing the whole time. The second day was worse; I had to survive on coke, candy, and coffee to stay alive enough to debate my rounds. However, this journey was very mentally stimulating. I learned how to write faster and think on my feet. I learned and improved so much during the past two days, and improved my editing and research skills. This tournament has been very fun and educational for me, and those $800 were worth it.
My Own Dinosaur!
If I got a dinosaur for my birthday, that would be pretty awesome. I would want a pterodactyl or one of those armadillo-looking ones. I would name the pterodactyl Birdie or something, but I would most likely take someone else’s name suggestion instead. If I got an armadillo looking dinosaur, I would name it something along the lines of Rice Bowl.
On Birdie I would be able to fly during my leisure time, which sounds really cool because once I had a dream about flying and it was really fun. Birdie could take me anywhere I want much faster than a car, and I could spend hours flying around in the air for no reason, or just to have some time to think. I could maybe even take friends on trips.
